Czech company calls time after eight years
MobileGamesBlog reports that Java game specialist Nostromo has entered administration, with creditors encouraged to come forward and claim any monies owed.
The Prague-based company first opened its doors in 2002 and has held regional production licences for Shrek the Third, Madagascar 2, KungFu Panda, Garfield, Nu Pogodi!, Pat&Mat, Mr. Bean, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and various Hallmark properties.
Telefónica O2 Czech Republic’s gaming portal was outsourced to Nostromo in 2007, though that agreement ended some time ago.
Nostromo was part of the investment portfolio of MCI Management, a Polish investment group managing venture capital and private equity funds.
