Markus Thorstvedt and Joe Bilman join as company preps big video push.
Fox Mobile Group (FMG) has confirmed the appointments of Markus Thorstvedt as its Chief Technology Officer and Joe Bilman as Senior Vice President of Global Products for Fox Mobile Distribution, a unit of FMG.
Both report directly to FMG CEO Mauro Montanaro and are focused on creating technology platforms and consumer services.
Thorstvedt has already launched a platform advancement initiative within the company and Bilman is involved in the development of a new FMG consumer brand for mobile video, which will debut in the coming months.
Montanaro said: “Markus Thorstvedt and Joe Bilman have each been at the forefront of pioneering web and mobile initiatives, and I believe their joining FMG reinforces our commitment to strengthening Fox Mobile Group’s leadership position in the mobile entertainment industry."
