FoneStarz seals first full track deal

Will power music services for Vodafone New Zealand.

FoneStarz has partnered with Auckland-based Satellite Media to offer DRM-free full-track music, ringtones and music videos from all the major global and independent music labels, together with local content from Kiwi indies.

Vodafone customers will be able to purchase from either Vodafone’s live! mobile site or a dedicated website. 

Because FoneStarz also manages the personalisation portal for Vodafone NZ, it promises to vertically integrate music, ringtones, video and other products (such as wallpapers, themes and Flash Lite) across the storefront, using its content management and delivery system, Daius.
