Deal will give South African users content-rich mobile services.
Fonestarz has signed a new deal with aggregator Thumbtribe to bring a range of mobile content to South Africa.The deal will see a host of Fonestarz’ wallpapers, ringtones, video and animations made available to South African customers.
Content will be available on the MTN and Virgin networks, while Nokia and Samsung subscribers will be able to access the content through their handset portals.
“The strategic partnership with Thumbtribe makes sense for all parties,” said CEO of Fonestarz, Dave Moreau. “This will enable us to increase our reach across South Africa, while Thumbtribe will benefit by providing mobile users in this rapidly expanding market with content from our internationally recognised portfolio.”
