Flurry wants to bring apps back from the dead

Launches Re-Engagement marketing service to revive interest in apps that users have left to gather dust.

Plenty of users will see an app and download it but with the constant release of new apps, the market is incredibly competitive and for serial downloaders it's easy to move on to the next one without a second glance.

So analytics firm Flurry created Re-Engagement to help developers encourage users to revive their dormant downloads.

AppCircle Re-Engagement is part of the new AppCircle in-app ads service allowing developers to take out in-app ads.

If the user takes the bait and clicks the ad, developers will then pay for every app launched. Ad pricing will start at 50 cents for each 're-engagement' or each time the app is launched from within an ad.
