FLO TV Personal Television hits US stores today

Launch includes six months of bundled subscription viewing.

The FLO TV Personal Television goes on sale across the US today, representing the Qualcomm subsidiary's move into consumer electronics.

Announced in October, the device offers a mixture of live and time-shifted TV from broadcasters including CBS, Comedy Central, Fox News, MTV, NBC and Nickelodeon. It's delivered over Qualcomm's FLO network.
The Personal Television costs $249.99, and is selling through Amazon and Best Buy, with RadioShack due to stock the device this side of Christmas too.

FLO TV has announced today that the selling price includes the first six months of subscription service. Once the six-month trial is up, users will switch to a monthly subscription charge, currently expected to be $8.99.

"The FLO TV Personal Television is setting the standard for high-quality mobile TV thanks to our award-winning network and technology," says FLO TV president Bill Stone.
