Qualcomm inks deal with Audiovox for $200 device
The proliferation of FLO TV continues, with Qualcomm inking a deal to embed its mobile TV service in an Audiovox portable DVD player.
The $199.99 unit (DFL 710) comes with a 7-inch 16:9 screen and offers access to the Disney Channel, Nickelodeon, ESPN, CNN Mobile, FOX News and other channels.
Audiovox is bundling the unit, available in the US-only from Best Buy, with a three-month FLO TV subscription, after which owners will have to pay $14.99 a month.
