Specifically, Flirtomatic says its US users are logging into the service five times daily and sending 26 messages.
The company says this ties with its experience in the UK, given the early stage of the US service and overall user numbers).
It also says US users are quite partial to a bit of transatlantic flirting with Brits and vice versa.
So far, 36 per cent of US users are using Flirtomatic on an iPhone.
In addition to the users data, the company has also confirmed the appointment of AT&T vet Gary Cohen to head up its US operations, particularly where operator relationships are concerned.
