FEATURE: A manifesto for better mobile UI

Marek Pawlowski, organiser of the MEX conference, issues a 15 point plan to make mobile experience more elegant.

If you think about it, every step change in mobile can be attributed to user experience. From the numeric keypad to the clamshell to the touchscreen, it's all about making mobile easier and more elegant to use.

That's why the MEX conference, which takes place in London on May 19th - 20th, is dedicated to the user interface.

But this is an event with a slightly unusual premise. It starts with a manifesto, detailing its beliefs as to how user-centred design principles can enhance the experience of multi-platform digital services.

MEX invites a line-up of expert speakers to discuss the manifesto over two days. Click here to read the manifesto in full.
