EMO's own Pete Wentz will discuss mobile 'artist-to-fan' ideas at US showcase next month.
Billboard's Mobile Entertainment Live!, Presented by Logic Wireless, takes place on October 6th at the Omni Hotel in San Diego, a day before CTIA hits the San Diego Convention Center.
Wentz is a founder member of Fall Out Boy but also the the owner of his own Decaydance label. He has strong opinions about how the music industry can best use mobile technology and devices to keep fans engaged.
He will kick off a day of presentations and panel sessions addressing the current state of mobile content in the US and beyond.
Other keynote speakers include AT&T's Rob Hyatt, Verizon's Ed Ruth and Alan Brenner, SVP of BlackBerry Platforms at RIM.
