App It link working well for social network.
Indie app store GetJar says that Facebook's mobile app has racked up more than 100 million downloads using its App It! link service.
More than half of those downloads were to Nokia handsets, according to GetJar, although Android is the fastest growing platform for the app now.
According to Facebook's own figures, its iPhone app has more than 52 million monthly active users, which puts GetJar's figure into context - nearly twice as many downloads as on the App Store.
Facebook is one of the brands using GetJar's App It! link to direct the store's users to the relevant download for their phone.
Others include Yahoo, Fandango and OpenTable.
