Facebook launched App Center last month. The service puts an App Center bookmark in the left navigation menu on Facebook.com and in the iOS and Android apps, from where users can preview app details before downloading, and send an installation link to their device for download from the App Store or Google Play.
It launched with 600 apps, including titles like Draw Something and Jetpack Joyride.
To prepare for the broader rollout, Facebook added the 'Localize' tab to the App Dashboard. This helps users select a primary language, see translated content and so on.
App developers who want their products to appear in those countries' App Centers must submit translated app-detail pages by July 13th.
In the coming weeks, further launches are planned for Brazil, France, Germany, Russia, Spain, Taiwan, and Turkey.
