Facebook is testing a new version of its mobile site, optimised for touchscreens.
It's an upgrade to the social network's regular homepage, which was designed with keypad-toting users in mind.
VentureBeat spotted the new version, which can be accessed at the URL http://touch.facebook.com.
Who'll use it? Well, nobody who has one of the Facebook applications for smartphone platforms already - it's available on iPhone, Android, Ovi Store and BlackBerry.
But there are plenty of other touchscreen devices out there that don't have a Facebook app available yet, so a touch-enabled version of the mobile site is the next best thing.
