Service to prevent forgetful users from getting locked out of their account.
The social network is testing the 'Trusted Friends' service, an alternative identification method when locked out of your account.
If a user finds they're without recollection of their password and email access isn't an option, the website will contact three friends and require an access code to send to each of them.
It isn't the speediest of processes of course as the socially stranded user will have to wait until the friends return the access codes.
If the account block occurred as a result of smugging attack however, the likelihood is that all manner of false statements will be trailed across the victim's profile and personal security will be greatly invaded.
