Most popular site for Opera Mini users in six countries there.
Facebook is the most popular mobile site visited by users of the Opera Mini browser in six African countries, according to Opera's latest State Of The Mobile Web report.
The six countries are South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, Zambia and Namibia. Other popular sites in the countries tracked by Opera include Google, Yahoo and Wikipedia.
In the last year, page views in Opera's top ten African countries increased by 374%, while unique users jumped by 177%.
Meanwhile, the report also reveals Opera Mini's latest global stats. It had more than 41.7 million users in November - up 5.3% month-on-month.
Those users viewed more than 18.8 billion pages in the month, consuming more than 285 million MB of data - up 213% year-on-year.
