Well, sort of. Social network says its covering its costs and now has 300 million users.
Facebook's CEO Mark Zuckerberg said in a blog post that the firm can now meet its operating expenses, and service the capital spending needed to maintain its growth.
The revenue is mostly coming from advertising, especially since Facebook revamped its search engine. But the firm has high hopes for its online payment system, which will monetise transactions between members.
The news has analysts wondering whether Facebook will now prepare for a public flotation in the second half of 2010, or in 2011.
