Social games firm SGN says it's made more than one million dollars from its F.A.S.T. iPhone game in just six weeks.
The game is a 3D dogfighting action title which was released in early June. TechCrunch first reported the news on Friday, although SGN itself hasn't issued a press release confirming the details.
How many copies has the game sold, though? That's less clear, as its price has varied considerably during its first six weeks on sale. It launched for $9.99, but has been on sale for as little as $1.99 between then and now.
The article suggests the game has been making $60,000 a day at its peak. It's a major success for SGN, which has previously focused mainly on free iPhone games, rather than paid titles.
SGN's free games have been downloaded more than 13 million times. The company is already working on making more money from F.A.S.T. though - it plans to introduce in-app payments for weapons and new planes soon.
