Everything Everywhere takes 'Shots' to T-Mobile

Opt-in ad service rolled out to another 13m plus subscribers.

The interactive SMS/MMS mobile advertising service will be given the name of ‘You Choose’ for T-Mobile customers.

It's powered by Blyk and works on the same basis of inviting users to opt-in to receive ads in return for discounts and offers. In theory, the opt-in process makes the ads more targeted and relative.

Orange Shots claims response rates of up to 40 per cent when it ran campaigns by brands such as Empire, NME, FHM, Herbal Essence and Pot Noodle.

For launch, selected T-Mobile customers will receive content from these same brands with more added in time.

Gerry McQuade, CMO of non consumer mobile at Everything Everywhere said, '’We're pleased to be rolling out our interactive mobile advertising service on T-Mobile for the first time.
