EPL team follows up its iPhone app with more of the same for Google's OS
The new Android application, iEverton, comes in two flavours - a premium version at a one-off introductory price of £9.99 and a Lite version pegged at £0.99 for one month's usage.
Both formats feature as standard all the latest club news as it happens, Everton’s current league position, recent results and articles from the news archive.
Users of both versions will also be able to find official statistical information including fixtures, results, tables and player appearances plus squad details, ticket information, club history and teamsheets.
The premium version of the app, meanwhile, also includes video match highlights, official podcasts, photos, wallpapers and live match updates.
Mark Rowan, Head of Communications at Everton, said: “The media landscape has changed significantly in recent years and Everton supporters want to consume club content across a variety of different platforms.
“To keep up with this demand and ensure we reach as many fans as possible, the new Android application is another extension of the media services we provide to communicate with our supporters.”
