YouTube starlet now a major label star, with an app to prove it.
Universal Music Group has released an official iPhone application for Esmee Denters, the singer who famously came to prominence via a series of home-made YouTube videos.
The app - Esmee Denters TV - is free to download from the App Store, and offers fans news, blog posts and tourdate updates.
There are also community features including live chat. However, the focus is on video, as you might have guessed from the name of the app.
It will stream new and old episodes of Esmee's video blog, allowing fans to keep up with the star in the manner they've become accustomed to.
Denters - currently riding high in the UK charts with her single Outta Here - is by no means the only artist to have her own iPhone app. iLike has launched hundreds in recent weeks for independent bands, for example.
