Partnership will seek to integrate services with other social networks and international operators
Ericsson and social network Kaixin001 have confirmed a three-year partnership to develop mobile apps for the Chinese market.
Kaixin001, which launched in March 2008, has 50 million subscribers in China and among Chinese speakers across the world.
The new mobile initiative will allow users to manage their virtual space, interact with friends and stay updated on their online communities.
Ericsson will also work with Kaixin001 to integrate services with other social networks, telecom operators and advertising agencies in China and abroad.
