Managed services specialist snaps up multiplayer mobile games pioneer.
The deal, for an undisclosed sum, will see Denmark-based End2End inherit multiplayer game hosting deals with operators in various markets.Most recently Terraplay launched services with T-Mobile Austria as part of a long-term agreement between the operator that had already seen T-Mobile UK launch multiplayer games based on its platform.
Like in the UK, the Austrian service provides T-Mobile with an operator branded community portal - dubbed Multiplayer Zone - for all connected games and also includes in-game billing, enabling various subscription models.
Terraplay also runs multiplayer games for 3 and maintains publisher relationships with the likes of THQ Wireless and Player X.
