Eidos Mobile has ramped its operations in preparation for a big 2008.
The Eidos New Media unit, responsible for publishing mobile games like Tomb Raider, Kane & Lynch and Sola Rola, has made a stack of appointments.They include Marcia Deakin, business development manager; Lee Page, account manager; Emily Britt, comms manager; Lorraine Starr, deployment and relationship director; Darren Melbourne, licensing; Luke Willoughby, marketing assistant and Marcel Chauvet, submission manager.
In the short term, Eidos will build on its strategy of forging strong relationships with operators and growing its portfolio to appeal to a wide consumer base.
Last year the company acquired Rockpool Games and Morpheme Studios, in doing so adding a large portfolio of licences and original IP to complement its established console/PC brands, plus development studios with a track record.
