Echovox will use Dilithium's technology to deliver mobile video content to 410 million subscribers
The Swiss company, whose infrastructure connects to over 50 mobile operators, has implemented Dilithium’s DTG 2000 multimedia gateway to power video portals, content on-demand and participation TV. It will also power Zong, Echovox’s web service that enables users to create and launch mobile services in 10 countries in 10 minutes."We are definitely seeing the demand for mobile multimedia services - video in particular - increase across Europe," said Mitch Lewis, Senior VP of Dilithium's Service Providers Business Unit. "And, as Web 2.0 services like YouTube continue to grow in popularity, we will no doubt continue to see user demand for these types of services on their 3G devices.”
