250 millionth user to receive trip to Amsterdam HQ.
The Netherlands-based service aggregates together all the most popular IM services in one place. The firm was originally established inside a loft, but has now been running for seven years.
The firm celebrated its milestone by giving out a prize to one lucky customer. It blogged: "Manoela from Sao Paulo, Brazil, is the 250th million user on eBuddy. She will be rewarded with a trip to the city were our headquarters is stationed: Amsterdam, the Netherlands!"
eBuddy says the smartphone has triggered a dramatic increase in the use of its mobile products, and that two thirds of its 33 million monthly users opt to use a mobile device to connect.
