Milestone during buoyant Q2 for the online retail giant
eBay has revealed that its iPhone app has been downloaded 11 million times.
The company revealed the figure during its Q2 earnings presentation, which also revealed higher than expected profits of $530 million and revenue of $2.2 billion.
eBay has also launched apps for BlackBerry and Android devices, though downloads of these weren't divulged.
Earlier this year eBay said it expects to make $1.5 billion from mobile in 2010, compare to $600 million last year.
