US operator gets exclusive first dibs on highly-anticipated mobile game
Rock Band Mobile, which is published by EA Mobile in partnership with MTV and developer Harmonix, is available now from Verizon's Get It Now content portal.
It costs $3.99 for a monthly subscription or $9.99 as a one-off payment and is supported by 30 handsets.
Rock band Mobile offers a pared down version of what the console game, with gamers able to play along to 25 tracks from the likes of Smashing Pumpkins, Lynyrd Skynyrd and the Beastie Boys.
Games modes include Cooperative Multiplayer, Pass-n-Play and Tour.
