Sales hit $48 million in the fiscal third quarter to December.
Electronic Arts mobile revenue increased by 23 per cent year-on-year in its fiscal Q3 ending December 31st to reach $48 million.Mobile accounted for seven per cent of EA's total quarterly revenue from all platforms.
EA’s total digital direct-to-consumer revenue, which includes online and wireless, came in at $313 million year-to-date, up 27 per cent year-on-year.
Last week rival Gameloft revealed it generated revenue of €33.8 million ($43.4 million) in its 4Q ending December, up 31 per cent from the same period in 2007.
However, the EA business as a whole is bracing itself for further job cuts after suffering losses of $641 million in the quarter.

On the bright side revenue was up, hitting $1.65 billon compared to $1.5 billion in 2007.
