Includes web, mobile and console development.
Unity Technologies has announced a wide-ranging deal with games publisher Electronic Arts to use its Unity development platform.
EA will be using the technology across multiple franchises and games, taking in web, mobile and console.
The pair are already partners, with EA having used Unity for its browser-based Tiger Woods PGA Tour Online game, and other upcoming projects.
The new deal expands on that relationship. "Unity represents one of the deepest commitments we have ever made," says EA's VP and chief creative officer Richard Hilleman.
"Unity’s unparalleled platform support ensures that when we have something we want to share with our players, we can reach them quickly on the platforms they have."
