E3 Expo 2010 to include Mobile Games Pavilion

Signing up developers now.

Games industry show E3 Expo will be capitalising on the iPhone-fuelled boom in smartphone gaming this year, with a dedicated Mobile Games Pavilion.

For $2,995, mobile developers will get their own kiosk in the Pavilion, along with an internet connection, signage, five exhibitor badges and ten industry affiliate badges. They'll also be listed in the Show Daily.

With tens of thousands of attendees expected to wander through the pavilion, it will be a high-profile showcase for the mobile games industry.

It's not the first time mobile has seized the spotlight at E3, mind. ME remembers a surreal couple of days at the 2006 event when Paris Hilton appeared on Gameloft's stand, while Nicole Ritchie buddied up with Pac-Man at a Sprint event. Happy days.

For more information about this year's Mobile Games Pavilion, contact Giovanni Stein at (508) 424-4864, or email gstein@idgworldexpo.com.
