Motion-sensing games a top priority, says publishing giant.
EA used part of its conference at the E3 games tradshow in Los Angeles to push its commitment to iPhone and iPod – and show off its games’ ability to take advantage of the ‘motion-sensing’ accelerometer in Apple’s devices.EA Mobile's Travis Boatman demonstrated how the firm’s new Scrabble game used the feature to allow players to ‘shake’ their phone to shuffle the game’s tiles.
Boatman also explained how iPhone owners will also be able to play Scrabble over Wi-Fi with fellow iPhone owners.
He also confirmed new versions of Tiger Woods and Need For Speed for mobile.
