Mobile Store has been created to channel the firm's solutions to m-commerce.
UK-based Actinic is known for its platform, which provides e-commerce and shopping basket features for startups to medium-sized online retail companies.
The firm notes that Britons have spent more than £1.3 billion via mobile devices, which is due to grow to 55 per cent in the next ten years but 70 per cent of UK online stores are compatible with smartphones and tablets.
Actinic is looking to change that with European e-commerce provider Oxatis by launching the Mobile Store. It's a mobile-optimised version that adapts the e-commerce tech to m-commerce.
Subscribers of Actinic's package will received Mobile Store access at no extra cost and can create a mobile-optimised version of their site with one click.
Simon Armstrong, marketing manager for Actinic, said: "As the number of consumers using smartphones and tablets to research and purchase products and services on the move is on the increase, the Mobile Store offers a new revenue opportunity that’s not to be missed."
