Toronto-based Puretracks will launch a DRM-Free music store for the BlackBerry.
It will be available initially in the US on the BlackBerry Pearl 81xx, Curve 83xx, and 88xx series handsets. Users of these supported phones will be able to shop for and download songs over the air. Tracks will be sold without any DRM.The launch should continue RIM’s push into the consumer market after several years of targeting business users.
