DreamSky Technology launches iGameDock 'gamebox' app

Three-for-one games for the iPhone.

Chinese firm DreamSky Technology has launched iGameDock, an iPhone app that offers several downloadable games within a single interface.

The app costs $0.99, and will feature three games at a time from various developers, updated over the network.

"We've learned from our experience as mobile game players and game developers that mot mobile games have a player attention span of three to five days," says CEO Michael Chan.

"Hence it makes much sense to provide iGameDock as a continuing game feature platform for users, so that they can keep trying new games without having to compromise on cost and memory space."

DreamSky is partnering with other firms on the app, including Scoreloop for social gaming features, and FreeAppADay for news on free iPhone games promotions.

The first three games to be included in iGameDock are DreamSky's own Doodle LeftorRight, 2Park's Particle Wars, and Adylitica Studios' Electron Zero.
