Doodle Jump is one of those success stories that has inspired innumerable developers to believe gold is waiting for them at the end of the app store.
It is rudimentary is terms of gameplay and graphics, but it's insane addictiveness have now seen it pass 10m on Android and iPhone alone. It was second on the top iPhone paid apps list of 2010.
Now, the plan is to cash in on other formats. It is already available for BlackBerry and Symbian, but new speculation says the game will go to iPad and Xbox Kinect.
It's also rumoured that Doodle Jump will follow Angry Birds into the toy and comics space.
Finally, a new version of the game – Doodle Jump: Hop the Movie – has just launched to promote the CGI bunny movie Hop.
