Analytics firm Distimo has launched a site to track 28 mobile app stores, aimed at developers.
Appstores.info allows developers to view info including number of apps, billing methods and developer fees, as well as searching the database, and reading the latest news about the various stores.
Distimo has also made a widget for users to add the information to their own blog posts and sites.
Stores covered include those of handset makers, mobile operators, OS platforms and independent app stores.
The site replaces Distimo's previous mobile app store overview section on its site.

"We received a lot of positive feedback about this overview, but also noticed it was becoming more difficult to use with every new store we added," blogs CEO Vincent Hoogsteder.
