The analytics firm says AppLink can serve as a convenient marketing/distribution tool and also keep track of consumers who use platforms that are not yet supported by the developer.
It provides app publishers with detailed statistics about their marketing campaigns and the effectiveness of different channels, and also helps consumers to share apps with friends, independent of the other person’s mobile device.
The launch is all designed to address the key question of how to assess the relative potential of different mobile platforms.
