Fresh rumours point to $50m purchase.
This one came out of the blue a bit. Time was when Indiagames was rarely out of the news, winning all manner of major licences, and powering the powerful Indian mobile games market into existence.
It's been much quieter lately, but it's still valued at Indiagames is valued at around $80 to $100 million – although All Things D is suggesting the deal could be done for $50 million.
Disney already owns half of the company thanks to its previous takeover of UTV, which owns a share of Indiagames along with Adobe and Cisco Systems.
So could it be that Disney is turning once again to games, as it did in the mid noughties when it swooped for Living Mobile and others.
It's certainly taking mobile very seriously. Its big money purchase of Tapulous in 2009 was seen as a sound one, and this year it has already bought HTML5 game specialist Rocketpack, famous for its Rocket Engine tool.
