Discover Discovery's iPhone app

Do you like sharks and WW2? Well, now you can learn about both on an Apple multimedia computer.

Discovery Communications has teamed with Rhythm New Media to create an iPhone app that offers video clips, images, quizzes and more.

Techcrunch carries news of the free, ad-funded app, which is available now from iTunes in the US. No word yet on a European version.

Rhythm New Media's track record includes creating apps for the likes of E! Online, Entertainment Tonight and TMZ.
