Version 2.0 now includes in-app payment functionality.
Casual games firm PlayFirst is the latest to announce an App Store milestone, revealing that its Diner Dash game has been downloaded more than one million times by iPhone and iPod touch owners.
There are both Lite and paid versions of the game available, so it's unclear how the million downloads splits between those.
Still, PlayFirst has just updated the game to Diner Dash 2.0, polishing the graphics and adding new levels.
The game also now includes in-app payments. Players can pay $0.99 for a new iPhone-exclusive restaurant called Romantic Rendezvous, with a Valentine theme.
The update is free for people who bought the original game, or $4.99 for people buying it for the first time. The Lite version has also been updated to version 2.0.
