Digital Chocolate signs up for OpenFeint iPhone games community

Rollercoaster Rush and other titles to get connected with Aurora Feint's platform.

The race is still on to become the iPhone's equivalent of Xbox Live, and Aurora Feint's OpenFeint platform just reinforced its credentials by signing up Digital Chocolate.

DChoc's titles will join the 500 games in development with OpenFeint features, to add to the 200 already available on the App Store.

The publisher is closing in on 40 million downloads of its iPhone games, as CEO Trip Hawkins recently told ME.

Signing up Digital Chocolate is a good deal, too, because the publisher has previously preferred to develop its own community platforms, such as the Cafe and Party Island ranges of mobile games.
