Fresh reports suggest long-rumoured smartphone will go public in next few days.
Unnamed sources have told the TechCrunch website that the handset could emerge in two form factors - a pure touchscreen model, and a slider. It could be that the Chinese are first to range the device.
The smartphones are understood to be based on OMS (Open Mobile System) - which is China Mobile's own in-house smartphone operating system - and not on Windows Mobile as previously supposed.
