CTIA: Mobliss + Reaxion = PressOK

Veteran mobile games brand Mobliss has been re-born in a merger with Reaxion.

The two Seattle-based companies will now be known as PressOK Entertainment, after a deal was reach between I-Hatch, a Reaxion investor, and Index Corp, which owned Mobliss. PressOK will be the B2B identity, with the consumer-facing brand being Poke. The Reaxion brand will be used to offer the porting and development created for developers and other publishers.

Mobliss was a well-known name at the start of the decade and was bought by Japan’s Index during its own spending spree. But it lost market share as gaming got bigger and saw the arrival of major console brands into the space. It did make headlines for its Burger King mobile game recently though.
