Industry veteran David Diggs appointed as VP of wireless internet development.
Diggs will be responsible for CTIA’s Wireless Internet Caucus (WIC) and work to accelerate the growth of the wireless data segment of the industry. He will replace Mark Desautels¸ who died suddenly from a heart attack during the CTIA show in April.
Diggs has worked at CTIA in 1995 as the VP of operations, before becoming VP of the CIBERNET Corporation (CTIA’s for-profit subsidiary) in 1997, and later assumed his current role as executive director of another CTIA unit, The Wireless Foundation.
