Verizon to offer more CBS shows via its mobile and broadband on-demand services.
CSI, NCIS and Survivor will soon be filling Verizon's airwaves following an expansion of its content deal with US media giant CBS.Reuters reports that the agreement applies to both its V Cast 3G on-demand video service and the telco's FiOS fibre optic broadband video offering.
The mobile content will be of the full length variety as opposed to short-form 'mobisodes'.
Leslie Moonves, president and CEO of CBS Corporation, said: "Verizon subscribers will have continued access to [CBS] not only through FiOS TV, but also through V CAST on the mobile phone, which enhances our profile on a key emerging platform."
