Comverse has launched its Fun Dial ringback service with Movistar Colombia.
The deal gives Comverse a presence on the second-largest mobile operator in the country, with more than 7.5 million subscribers.
Ramesh Barasia, president of Comverse Americas, said: “By determining what their callers will hear until the phone gets answered, Movistar subscribers become the only users in Colombia to be able to introduce music and humour and project a personal ingredient into that basic element of every phone call. By differentiating the operator’s service offering, Fun Dial has the potential to increase Movistar user satisfaction, raise ARPU, and win new subscribers.“
