Cobimobi.com goes live today, signaling Cobra's switch into a games publisher, offering titles initially in the form of Cobi Treasure Deluxe and Numba. Both are original games designed by Cobra to fit into what it calls an 'omni-platform' game experience, i.e. one that is available for PC, mobile, consoles, virtual consoles, handhelds and even iPhones/iPods.
Initially Cobi Treasure Deluxe and Numba can be downloaded for the PC as trial versions with 45 minutes playing time each. If the player decides they'd like the full version of the game they can unlock it for £11.95 / $19.05.
Mobile versions will be made available in the coming weeks.
Mark Ettle, founder and studio manager of Cobra, said: "We're very proud to have created games with such amazing potential and wide ranging universal appeal. We're delighted to be able to make them available directly to players all around the world."
