Latest stats from envIO's recommendations community show Background Check and Let's Golf riding high
Chorus users have spent over $1 million on paid iPhone apps since envIO launched the recommendation community in November last year.
EnvIO's Chorus stats for January also revealed that its user is now inviting an average of 78 friends to try out the app (up from 52 in December) - since its launch Chorus users have invited over 600,000 friends to join the community.
The total number of registered Chorus users is growing by an average of 38 per cent a month.
In terms of the actual apps being recommended, the most popular free and paid apps for January were Background Check and Let’s Golf, which took over for IMDb and DropZap, respectively.

EnvIO has also confirmed that it is developing Chorus for other smartphone platforms and is planning to announce rollouts in several new languages in the coming months.
Vladimir Edelman, VP of Marketing and Business Development at envIO, said: “We’ve received great feedback from publishers and developers who are looking for helpful tools to help them track the hottest apps that users are downloading.
"The average user now recommends the app to nearly 80 of their friends and downloads an average of three apps a month, which shows the tremendous power of growth through viral and social recommendations.”
