China Mobile's Mobile Market is often overlooked in any discussion of the world's biggest app stores. But according to Capital Vue, it's making good progress
True, its 360m total is a fortieth of the 14 billion downloads on the Apple App Store, but when you consider that the 80m registered members represent just 13 per cent of China Mobile's 600m subs you see how big it could get.
The report said users are downloading an average of 4.5 apps each.
To support developers, China Mobile has established the China Mobile Developer Network, which has so far led ten firms to funding and investment from venture capital firms.

Interesting, we're just embarking on our first Chinese app on the iPhone. If that's successful, I guess we should look at all the platforms China Mobile use. Does anyone have an answer to this?
