Russian content provider i-Free is launching into China as part of its international expansion drive.
Its pictures, animation, music, realtones and Java games has been adapted and localised for Chinese user and are now available via China Mobile and China Unicom. China is the sixth country where i-Free opened its office after Ukraine, Kazakhstan, India, Mexico and Brazil.The range will expand to comprise new Chinese content, along with interactive and community-based services, before 2007 year-end.
Nikolai Matveev, head of international business development at i-Free, said: "China's potential is through the roof, and we think we can get a foot in. Our pilot sales give us hope of solid commercial benefits in the future."
